CIBER is looking for a candidate to provide leadership and direction as well as perform 3rd level administration for network and network security systems. The position is located in Southfield, MI. • Manage router, switch and security device support in an environment of approximately 90 Cisco devices
• Implement, maintain, and improve network security devices and processes
• Oversee the router, switch and security device maintenance schedule
• Work with Help Desk on correct client/switch settings
• Maintain integrity and security of wireless network
• Maintain and administer Check Point firewall clusters
• Manage network quality of service (QoS) and adherence to Service Level Agreements
• Document change controls and system downtime
• Maintain network documentation and network diagrams
• Setup and maintain test network and test all images before putting them into production
• Fill in for network administrators for daily monitoring of Cisco devices for errors or security issues and implement incident response as appropriate
• Respond to critical network issues 24/7
• Physically move and rack network equipment and servers and ensure that cabling environments are properly maintained
• Support and maintain servers, both Windows and UNIX, that perform network functions
• Develop network and network security strategies and communicate them to upper management

Requirements

• 5-10 years experience in network or network security administration
• Check Point firewall experience required
• 3 years experience with Cisco IOS including BGP and EIGRP configuration and management
• Experience administering Cisco NAC
• CCNA or higher required, with CCSE, CCNP, CCSP, or other high level network security certification preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
